This Jat Dhanta Pouch features exquisite hand-embroidery from the Jat Dhanetah community. Crafted with a sturdy denseness that is characteristic of this style, practiced by two communities - Jat-Fakiraani and Dhanetah. The open chain stitch creates a geometric grid, while the satin stitch fills in radiating patterns. The use of thick, coarse cotton fabric adds to the dense and textured effect. To balance the density, mirrors are used sparingly, only on small surface areas, showcasing the artisan's aesthetic sensibility and skill. This clutch also includes two inner pockets for added functionality.
