For over five decades, Shrujan has constantly pushed the boundaries of the traditional craft of embroidery so that it is alive and vibrant and, continues to appeal to an ever-widening community of craft lovers.

At the same time, Shrujan has also embraced the other crafts of Kutch. At present, Shrujan is focused on Kutch hand weaving, mushroo, tie-dye, hand block printing, pottery and beadwork.

Shrujan immerses itself in each craft to understand how its magic is created. Only then does it dare to collaboratively find spaces where innovations in raw materials, design and product development can contemporize the traditional craft.

The crafts are exhibited and marketed on the same platform as Shrujan. The name of the craftsperson and his/her enterprise is boldly displayed on the label.
